Download to PC Problems with E550

Hi folks,

Can't seem to get the camera connection to PC to work now. Had the camera 9 months and never had this problem. Get the ding-dong chime when USB cable is hooked to camera and turning it on. PC won't automatically bring up the fine pix down load options page. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You don't have to use the software to download.
As soon as you connect, open your file manager and you will see a new drive added, I think it may even ad a few drives, digital camears do that. So you have have to look at all the drives it adds until you find the camera.

Then just copy the files to your hard drive.

Of you can manually open the Fuji software and see if that works.

Worked like a charm to get to the pictures, Thanks! Still scratching my head as to why the automatic window doesn't come up anymore. Still pops up on PC when DVD or CD is put in drive but not the USB with camera. Oh well, thanks again! woody70
