    colour calibration

I saw nothing concerning colour calibration in the threads (or so it seems). Would you advise to buy a device like Color Plus by Colorvision or is there a software based method ?
    Thanks in advance !

There is no software method for calibrating monitor settings because it needs a hardware sensor to actually "look" at your monitor. Personally, I just find it much more worthwhile to print out small sampler photos and then adjust color, contrast, and whatnot accordingly for each image.

$100? Not worth it unless you're trying to sell prints and sell lots of them constantly. I'm sure actual contracted photographers would need it but for normal prints its really not necessary.
