sandisk ultra II 512 compatible w/ Nikon 8700

I dont see the 512 MB Sandisk ultra II CF listed on either Nikon site or Nikon 8700 under sandisk 512 compatibility chart. Does anyone know if this compact flash will work in Nikon 8700?

Yes it will work, but you probably will not get most of the benefit of higher in-camera transfer speed. Most (if not all) all-in-one cameras do not have the processing speed to utilize the high speed transfer feature. Only a handful of dSLR's can fully utilize ultra high speed flash cards.

You will notice a difference in download speed card-to-computer using a USB 2.0 (480mb/sec) system.

Basically any CF I card is compatible with any CF compatible camera as the memory controller is in the memory card, not in the camera.
