I will definitely be trading in my 20 for the 30. It looks like a great camera, and Panasonic has addressed almost all of the problems with the 20 and answered them in the 30 (minus the TTL flash).

You will definitely need to be trading in your name from 20 to FZ30kno.... then. Looks like the new cam has grown fatter too.
It's stone silence re. the FZ30 where I am. I just got my FZ20 a few months back and very happy with it. Will wait for the FZ40 or 50.

I agree Tim, I have had mine since November and dont plan on upgrading to the Z30, I am very happy with the Z20. Since the ISO and noise appear to be very similar on the 2 models, no need for me to switch!

Without the higher ISO, the performance increase in the FZ30 just isn't worth it to me, not for that price. Unless they come with a higher ISO, it's just as well to spend the extra $ to go dSLR...

Looks like lense of FZ30 is downgraded compared to FZ20 (constant f2.8), is that right assumption???

Like many others have said, unless they come out with a better price I can't see upgrading. Amusingly they upgraded many things in the FZ30 except for two things I actually wanted (Better ISO's and TTL Flash). More than likely my next camera will be a DSLR.

I do love my FZ20 though...

That Fuji S9000 looks pretty interesting. If it can produce better images then its previous models (lot so grain/noise in them), then it should take a big chunk of the market away from Canon and Panasonic.
