    Talking Nikon Coolpix 5200 v. 5900

OK, I just need a comparison of these 2 because I'm tryign to figur eout why I should pay between $30 and $70 more for the 5900 when the features, at first glance, are the same as the 5200 except that the LCD is 2" instead of 1.5". How do they compare in the following categories, plus whatever else is a noteworthy difference that I'm missing, because it has to be something!

    Quality of stills

    Quality of video

    Ease of features/use

Nikon 5200 and the Nikon 5900

    Joe-

Each of these two Nikon digital cameras have been reviewed in depth and detail by our own Jeff Keller, and they are easily available to you right on this website.

After reviewing those two reviews it appears, although I could be incorrect, that the primary difference between the Nikon 5200 and the Nikon 5900 is that the 5900 uses a different lens, different LCD, and it incorporates VR technology into the video clip mode. Those are the apparent changes to me. There may indeed be more subtle changes that could indeed affect the ease of use, which in large part is a rather personal issue.

So please go through the two reviews carefully, I have believe that you will find the needed data in those or other reviews.

    Sarah-

Thanks! I just needed someone to put it into layman's terms. I read both reviews and just didn't know enough to tell the difference, haha. I just went out and bought the 5900 and its great. Thanks again.
