    HELP! Orange spot on images...

I just recently purchased a Digital Rebel XT and just recently noticed 1 orange spot on all of my pictures. What part of my camera do I need to clean or get professionally cleaned to get rid of it??

    Thanks,
    Sarah

It might be easier to determine if you could post some unedited sample pics. We might be able to determine where the spot is that way.

Post a RAW or a full-size JPEG image on something like yahoo geocities and tell us where it is so we can look. I suspect a faulty sensor.

Here is a URL to a family portrait with the spot very noticeable. It's on the left arm of the guy second to the end- on the left.

    Thanks for your help...

If it is the sensor can it be fixed??

You may want to post a larger/cropped image. I think I see a small oblong orange spot on the right arm of the guy in the middle. Is that it?

Am I blind? I don't see anything... maybe a enlarged crop of the area of concern might help? I sure don't see anything in that picture.

It just hit me. I have had this headache for a while now.... I strained and strained to see some orange spots on that photo earlier and I now realize that I know what the cause of my headache was .... Thank you very little! LOL

That looks like the autofocus sensor to me, somehow transposed onto your pic.
