All with an 800mm mirror, which appears to be defective. The replacement seems better...

Couple of days away but the weather was overcast and misty on the friday and rained all day on the saturday but here are a couple of shots.

There was a nice thames wherry next to this rowing boat but the boat next to that was covered in plastic sheet. I do not have a decent zoom to take close ups so had to make do with the rowing boats.

Some sort of Rig?
Wasn't sure where to post this possibly in Interesting Buildings but it is definitely ocean-going, apparently there temporarily and it does move as it appeared in Newhaven Harbour in October though I only saw it on Sunday, hence here this is.
But,what is it?It looks like an oil rig but there'e no oil off Sussex to my knowledge,I tried to google it but came up with very little, someone said it might be a salvage rig, whatever that is.
The pictures don't really do it justice-its absolutely huge and though rusty,in its own way spectacular when you are standing in front of it.

Same evening as the above post. Just a little more of a telephoto composition. I think I like this one better

Unfortunately have been missing the very nice sunsets recently. Hope they last through your trip to Morro Bay.
Here is one of the shots of Moss Landing Harbor/Marina with the ever present PG&E plant in the background.

An iconic fishing boat in these parts. Part of the "Italian Fleet" that plies these waters for sardines.
The San Giovanni (with pelican in tow).
