Gavin, your tall-ship Europa is spectacular!
Here are a few shots from one of my favourite bays in Sydney, Rushcutter's Bay:
1. The boat on the right is either a Folkboat or a Contessa26', the boat to the left with the rising sun on the bow belongs to the Army Sailing Club, and the people rowing ashore are in a tiny fibreglass dinghy, laid up with "lapped looking strakes" to add strength to the hull, and of course a couple of famous Sydney landmarks in the background:

2. Shot of a Compass 28' yacht:

3. The Folkboat/Contessa head on:

4. The 'Bay at sunset, wide-angle:

cheers,
Benjamin

Hey Lukas,
Thanks for the nod, its been a while...
That's a lovely shot, great light, composition and pp.
Congrat's on your seascape book (although I commented in the original thread), its a tangible record of your development over the last 6-12 months.
Filters are the next item on my wish-list, but I've been procrastinating over which to buy, I like the Hoya range, but the adaptability of the Cokin holder system etc has obvious advantages re GND's..., still mulling over that one...
cheers,
Benjamin

After a fire swept through her while out fishing, all that remains is a charred hull resting on the beach.

The Miss Ann, who served the Tides Inn for over fifty years, sets sail from Carters Creek for the last time.

Sorry, I've got lots of pics of boats.

Thanks.....I've got plenty more, but I figured that was enough for now. Anyhow, you're shots are really intriguing! I don't know what it is about ship wrecks that interest me, but they do. Where is that? Were they victims of a storm? Nice work.
