no i didnt use any diffuser except for the built in wide angle diffuser for 1-2 of the shots (i think those are the last 2 ones), in all other pics the flash was fired straight-on. and i ordered a...

it takes me 2-3 test shots to get the exposure right the first time. but then after that, keeping the ISO value same and the flash output same i control the exposure by varying on the Av depending on...

took me a few tried to get the right light .. but from then on .. it was a breeze

ahhh finally the 400D gave me decent enough results with the kit lens and the 430EX (no more under-exposure and perfect flash illumination as well [that's what i think]) and so now my sorrow for...

guys is the f2.8 engough for indoor shots without flash ? bcuz i constantly end up going f1.8 on my 50mm even at ISO 1600 to get the correct exposure

yeah you are right about the high ISO .. and i think that the patch got over exposed over there.. though i am not sure..
