Thanks guys! :) :)
A couple from Horsetail Falls here in Oregon:
This was my first SLR. I had it and a couple of lenses including a nice old Tamron zoom. I sold it all a while back though. I'm all digital now.
Another one of my kitty Olive:
Nice macro shot drama! Glad you didn't get "screwed" with a big fat car repair bill!
GoneTomorrow: Great shot and a pretty kitty!!! Absolutely stunning IQ too. Must be that prime you're using :D.
Elisha: Very nice! Cute lil bugger and I love the shot! Composition is great and I...
I went with the non VC. I got it for 450 from BH. I saw it for 399 at some other places but I wanted to make sure I could return it if it was a bad copy.
I think the VC would be cool but I'm not...
My lil momma bear Olive:
Just shot this with my new Tamron 17-50 and 430EX. It's my bro.
Got it today! WOW! Great lens. Very sharp. I got a "made in Japan" copy too so I think it's a good one. I took some pictures just messing with it and the 430EX flash:
My kitteh Olive washing up:...
GabrielC...those are great! :)
I had some fun with squirrels near my house today:
Cory...awesome shot! (and your girl is cute ;) ).
Which lens are you using on that one, the 17-55?
I should get it this Wednesday. I REALLY hope I got a good sharp copy....
I also have a B&W UV filter and circ polarizer coming for it AND a Speedlite 430EX II with a diffuser hood. Can't wait!!1...
Here's one I did on a tripod with my 55-250 kit lens &250mm (100% crop)
Looks pretty good lighting wise! My only real complaint is I think the background is less than flattering (the store and other cars on the right being particularly distracting).
Yeah I see that.... I don't know wtf happened there because the lens is clean.... Weird haha.
Which tool is that in Photoshop?
Shooot I guess I should have found this thread before making my own thread for my St. John's Bridge pics. Oh well here's some of em again.
Love that one DWessel. That untouched snow looks like marshmallow! :)
We have a lot of bridges in this city, but by far the coolest looking one is St. Johns Bridge. It's got a really cool Gothic design. I went and shot some pics yesterday. Let me know what you guys...
A "Benson Bubbler" water fountain here in Portland, OR:
I like it a lot LBGChris! Very spooky indeed!
Dang man sorry to hear about that. That's just downright wrong. People should be asking your permission AND crediting you for your pictures!
I was messing around with some random still life today. These came out OK:
A coffee mug:
And beer cans :):...
