Rick, nice shot of the light bulbs!
Went walking up a mountain a couple days ago and here are some shots I took. BTW, it's called a rainforest for a very valid reason! On my walk down, it poured...

Is your card type H or type M? Some card readers do not read the higher speed type H xd cards. I am using a 1 gig Oly type M card and have no problems with it.

Useless full auto mode aside, this fuji makes a SUPERB low light hand held cam! I shoot RAW and post process if I have to go as high as ISO3200 though, cause the noise reduction is ridiculous at this...

A pretty little wild orchid which I found growing in my own backyard! It's only about the size of a pinky finger nail. (Super macro mode). Second pic is cropped from first.
To Hercules, I too am a...

Nesting Magpie Robin
sharpening set to soft (I find it's normal just fine though).
Had to adjust the EV cause the Fuji burned out a lot of the highlights in the tree bark and the bird's feathers....

Just got back from the beach. Took a lot of shots with the fuji, still have a lot to learn... most of the outdoor pics turned out a tad on the dull side. How do you get more vibrant pics with the...

I think I was in similar shoes for a while and almost went with the e-500 with double kit lens cause it was on sale to make way for the newer 510. However, I really didn't want to carry two lenses...

That's a real nice crop then! I asked cause I was wondering how in the world did you zoom up so close to that bird. The best I can do with the zoom is...well...not very "best" at all haha, consider...

I noticed that all my movies captured with my new s6500fd has a very rapid clicking noise which occurs at seemingly random points in a movie (sometimes all throughout), do any of you experience this...

^^Was that a full pic or was it cropped?

I too am looking for a pocket cam now that I have my s6500fd. I'm considering F10 where I've spotted some demo units (with full warranty) going for a song. The problem I've heard of is, dust gets...

Hi all, just got myself the s6500fd. Really enjoying it so far. My first digicam was a Fuji DX-10 and that was so many years ago, it still works except that the batt cover is broken. Been using my...
