I hit the Menu Reset for about the 3rd time and it finally reset like it should and my lenses work again.
In the meantime - does anyone know what I could have done in the first place?...
Let me add that the switch is set to AF (not M), I have tried pressing the RESET button and when I press the shutter partway an "EL" appears in the viewfinder.
I was experimenting with my D70 camera, and now my lenses will not focus at all!
