There are now quite a few sites running this scam, the last thing they are worried about is the standard of photography, the idea is for the 'Sucker' wanting to see his shot published, and therefor...

Thank you Prospero for this great tutorial, I found it very informative indeed, up untill now I've been using HiTech graduated neutral density filters and will give Photomatix a try in the near...

Out of your selection it would be the Sony H2, highly recommended on dpreview, and best of all if you can still find one should be cheap as they are no longer being made..
-
Yes you are dead on griptape, Sony has now managed to stuff up the 2007 T,W and H series with dire image quality, lets hope they get their act together for next years offerings.
-
Check out the following link for comparison shots from the W200 & Casio 12 Mpix camera, the gravel/rocks between the railway tracks on the W200 is smeared to hell.

Hi Rocky, here in Australia A$350 will nearly get you the Sony DSC-W100 which is now discontinued but can still be found if you look around, this was originally a A$499 camera.
The W100 has the...

Thanks for the link irwell, after seeing these and the W200 images on DPReview, I will give it a miss and stay with the W100, it appears to have
the same problems as the other new Sony camera's with...

The Sony W100 & forthconing W200 still have manual modes.

I'm also looking forward to the W200 review's to see if it has an even better ISO performance than my W100, got to agree even though one would have to use the LCD, being able to use a polarizer and...

Hi irwell
Yes it looks like you are dead on, what a pity, would have to remove the adapter for flash, and use the LCD only for the W/A and T/C or any filter used.
-
Interesting that there is an adapter available for the W200 that allows the use of 37mm filters, also available is a Sony 0.7 wide angle lens (24.5mm) as well as a 2.6x teleconverter (273mm).
If the...

If you are in the U.S the best bang for the buck would be the Sony DSC-H2 which is being run out at $200 or less, for the money saved over the Canon would buy you the 1.7x teleconverter or macro lens...

The DSC-W200 is due for release at the end of this month 31st May. No reviews anywhere so far.

Hi, recommend reading the manual on your Sony DSC-W90 as it indeed has image stabilisation.

Ditto the above post.....Sony, Canon or Fuji.

I Think what you are looking (wish) for that you will be waiting a long time.

Hi again Franzfan.
Thanks for the compliments, the Canon A630 is also a good camera, the reason I went for the Sony is that it performs better at higher ISOs and therefor good in low-light...

Hi Franzfan
The above shot was taken using a mini tripod at ISO 80, I also find the Sony fine at ISO 400 and 800 useable with a little bit of noise reduction using 'Noiseware' or 'Noise Ninja'
