I has the 450D that i enjoyed and the smaller size didn't bother me, i have sold it and bought the 40D that i think is much better, but would i be a fool to sell my 40D and buy the 500D?

Ya thanks i figured it out but when i just press save as WMV the file size goes to around 25mb and thats to big to email,, but if i tick compress to 8mb then choose save as WMV it works but is it...

You can also check out the EF 70-300IS these were shot with my 400D that were shot with that lens, IS is a good feature as well i would of never been able to take those shots without it, these are...

I think it does matter what camera you get, try the Canon S2 IS, S3 IS, S5 IS, as those have very good IQ and video quality;)

What settings do you have the camera on, i have the S3 IS and find using the scene setting (night mode) works really good for low light shot, really good as a matter of fact.

I had the S6000fd and sold it and bought the S3 IS that i really like it's a wonderful camera, the fuji though has better high ISO but the fuji doesn't stand a chance with the S3 IS in outdoor shots...

Very nice photos, i just recieved my S3 IS today and it is a fantastic camera and a perfect all in one, i also have the Canon 400D and the S3 IS in daytime outside matches it;)

Hey i also read that in outdoor shots in daylight if you put the white balance to cloudy on the S60006500/fd that the colors are warmer and more lively is that true.

I agree to but how about like outside daylight shots are they the same or would the FZ-50 be better.

Quality is good, but not close to a dslr. but dslr's don't have flip up & twist LCD panel, the compact cameras have alot worse high ISO and are not close to being as fast as a dslr, then on a dslr...

Well can't wait to see the review,, but from reading on the site it seems like a winner, it will probably out do the S6000/6500fd.
