    Yesterday I ordered 85mm 1.8 and a used 35-70 f2.8.

    I may not need the 50mm if the 35-70 performs as well as I'm hoping.

    I am in the habit of putting a UV filter on every lens for protection as well as for the beneficial effects of removing haze.
