No technical reason at all, if it records more that 4GB in one file it would be regarded as a video camera and thus fall into a (presumely much) higher customs tariff. :rolleyes:

Me too! :o I was shooting low down and was unable to check the focus in the view finder. Hopefully my newly acquired angle-finder will make things easier in the future. :D

Yup, I second that. It looks like the D40 is a winner in this case (it sounds like the "better" i.e. less expensive set - whilst maintaining a similiar IQ - and she seems to like it better anyway). ...

Ergonomics was one of the big reasons I ruled the xxxD Series out. I love the layout of my 30D though. :)

You should be able to turn it off in the "Image Capture" utility's preferences. :)

I just returned my 2nd transcend USB-stick that randomly corrupted the data on it. :mad: They also got delisted by the electronics-chain I purchased them from. Looks like might have some quality...
