DPI values are only useful for prints, not for camera's.

First you will need to know how big your prints would be.
Calculate how many square inches they will be,

No more Ricoh's at the DC resource...

I own my Ricoh Caplio R6 camera now almost a year.
No problems detected until now.
Very nice Macro mode.
Firmware updates were applied easily.

I got the R6 some days ago. I really like it until now.
I did not find any problem sofar. Because of the smaller sensor this camera produces more noise at low light conditions than my Canon PS A80...
