Just my 2 cents, but there is no magical low priced lens to shoot in a darkened auditorium.Your best bet is to rent a 70-200 2.8. Good news is that your camera will accept any good high quality lens...

Faisal, the EFS 15-85 is the walk around lens I keep on the 50D. Not bad at all for a 3.5 - 5.6. I wish it would do 3.5 through the 85mm focal length, but other than that it is a great medium priced...

I'm in the same camp as BBPhoto. The 17-55 2.8 stays on my 7D most of the time. It continues to be my most versatile lens for indoor shots, or capturing the great outdoors. I have several specialty...

The T1 i is the crop body. BBPhoto selected the 17-55 2.8 for it. I would recommend that lens as well.

Just one of our fabulous weekend seeing the kids get married.

Nice pics Spinning. You are getting better all the time.

For the money your 100mm 2.8 is hard to beat. It's focus is slow because it's a macro lens. I guess save up for the 2.8 70-200L or possibly a Sigma alternative.

Nice capture Spinning. We aren't going for the pic of the year here, but these show your improvement and can remain as precious memories of your daughters diving years :)

All I can think of is that your memory card may not have the capacity/speed to play it back on camera. The computer can "buffer the file". Maybe try a class 10 card made by SanDisk. Any of your...

What are you playing it back on Strong325? The T2i, your computer, your tv?

Thanks for posting these nqjudo. I haven't been much on reply, but your leopard shot is one we would all strive for in our shooting. Super images man :)

** If possible, could you tell me between the Pentax K-x and Canon T2i which will produce better images? Thanks![/QUOTE]
Peaceoutaly, don't get hung up on brands. Most modern dslr cameras can...

Nice shots Spinning. Looks great for iso 3200:)
Keep up the good work.

You are doing very good Spinning. You are almost there. Your camera is a very fine instrument and you are beginning to tap into it's capabilities. With RAW you can make all the .jpeg you want in a...

I don't know which RAW mode you are shooting in, but unless you are making poster size prints you can use S RAW1 and lower the file size. I'm like nqjudo though. I'd also buy another card.

Congratulations Spinning. The pics look great. The snow exposure is spot on in that last one.

Count me in for small camera optical viewfinders, especially if they are accurate.
For action shots like David provided, manual mode would be nice to make that shot delay as quick as possible....

Nice for those of us that like to watch snow fall :) Thanks for the link. Very well done.

Understanding of light is important. How you get there is a matter of subtle settings.
Flash is my biggest downfall in the camera hobby. I can get it close, but most of mine is in a brothers...

I hate to be the one answering nearly all your questions, but don't make UV filters or polarizers a priority. That stuff stays in the bag most of the time. Many uv filters will actually degrade your...

I understand the speed works both ways, but may vary by your equipment. I doubt you would notice much difference between a 15 or a 30MB/s card unless you download 300 or so images per day. The 7D...

I use Sandisk cards in the 30MB/s range, but for normal shooting that 15MB/s will do fine.
Bulk package unit means you get the card in it's plastic storage case as opposed to that same card packaged...

Buy some good rechargeable AA batteries for it, or use the ones you had in your S6000.
Enjoy your new flash and don't be afraid to experiment with it.
