    S500 estimate

    Last year I brought in my broken S100 ELPH (shutter failure after 30,000 shots) for service and Canon offered me $50 for it to trade up for another model but I refused (due to sentimental value).

    Go for it... On the other hand, the 400mm f2.8 gives you mouthwatering range (something I would want :D ):

    400 mm f2.8 -> 2X converter -> 800 mm f5.6 -> 1280 mm AF on a 1.6X body

    Special lens for 1D Mark III

    Now that Canon has decided to continue the 1.3X crop factor line of cameras, is there any chance that they'll release a ultra wide-angle lens just for these cameras?

    So far, no one's said anything about this new flash from Canon. What makes it weathersealed at the foot area (connecting to the hotshoe)? And how much is the retail price?
