When I first got into photography, I always loved dark, rich shots. Back to the roots.

Looks good. I'm always drawn to black and white images.

That's incredible. I'm always amazed at the shadow detail you can pull out of the underexposed areas as well.

Thank you for the kind words. The entire time I've been into photography, I've always used natural lighting. I decided I wanted to try to embrace using flash instead of avoiding it like the plague....

I like this look for this particular image. It reminds me of the art you would see in the old, original Heavy Metal magazine. I think it needs some rotating to make the center building verticle...

In the past, zooms in general did not have the quality they do now compared to primes. When I made my purchase I was on a budget. I opted for the D80 body only and a Sigma 18-50 f2.8 over the kit...

The first two shots posted look like big hunks of salmon... only blue.
