You're right, it was 400. I really wish it had been 200, but it was the only film I had.

But I guess slightly grainy pictures on the wrong film is better than no pictures...

dSLR's usually perform better when used in another mode other than Auto. If you aren't confident enough to take it off of Auto then maybe you should sell it and go back to a P+S :rolleyes:

I actually just received that 50mm last week and the film taken with it is still at the lab :p But sit tight, I'll be getting it later tonight and I'll tell you how it compares :)

I second that recommendation of the AF-S version. It's light, sharp and gives great photos.

But seriously you made some good points...the reason carbon fiber tripods are good is not that they are more stable than say an alluminum tripod is...
