Very true. How did you end up with one, if you didn't know that? Sorry, don't mean to be rude at all, just curious. Also, if you don't like it, I'd recommend a Nikon Coolpix 8800. I'm currently...

I took some photos with the Canon 350D XT, at 1600 ISO, and they turned out very well. I haven't tried printing them yet, but the 350D is one of the best in the price range considering noise.
I'm...

haha, good point there coldrain....I'm one of the people that like the avaliablility of the hot-shoe on any camera I buy, so...lol! (Then again, I am in dSLRs now, so...lol)

got my camera today. I had to call customer service again though because I couldn't stay to recieve my package from FedEx, so she researched and gave me my tracking number, with which I picked it up...

Now that I've looked at the panasonic, I'd recommend that one. It has a better aperature span, and image stabilization, which does help in low-light, and zoom. It also gives you a hot-shoe mount,...

Ok, I compared the two and I would say if you would like manual controls, and being able to take the best pictures in your given budget, between the two, I would say get the S5200. Here are the main...

I have the Fuji S5100, and I've liked it a lot. If the 5200 is an upgrade of it, I would recommend the S5200...but, I just bought a 350D, so I don't really have any expertise in the lower price...

hehe...I'd be tempted, so long as I can sell my Nikon 8800 and accessories for $800....I gotta pay my mom back, since I borrowed this $800 from her....(the Nikon and first 350d were my money though,...

Well, I ordered ANOTHER DReb XT from Adray Camera in Mich (since I'm also in Mich) and it'll be here tomorrow...if B&H won't accept a return/refund for it, I'll send it in to repair it, then sell it.
-
Yes, I believe I read that it is somewhere. I just bought one, the decided to upgrade to a Canon 350D. So, it does take the microdrives, which are fat32 (I think?) and I believe it takes up to the...

Hello all! I would recommend Adray Camera, because I just ordered a DRebel XT from there. Very nice customer service. 1-day rush shipping. Very nice people to deal with, very friendly. As soon...

Since I'm just getting mine, I can't offer great advice yet. However, if it is anything like my older P&S cameras, it'll be something like a 8 sec shutter speed (would greatly depend on avaliable...

I just hope that Canon doesn't do this to me again....must've been a defective product...(defective parts and workmanship or something), because nothing happened to it between the hour it was taking...

Haha. THanks. No problem there cdi-buy. I've looked into renting, but I live in a hole in Michigan, and the closest store to even carry the (and way overpriced) camera is 2 hours away. Renting,...

It's for a friend. I have a Nikon 8800 I can shoot with. But, I mianly bought this camera to do my friends wedding. I'm no pro, so plesae, don't treat me as one.
No offense at that meant,...

I ordered it from a store on-line. BHPhotovideo.com
I can of course send it back and get a exchange. However, I can't send it back, and get the new one in 2 days. I need this on Sat morning
-
GAH! I just called tech support, and he says my sensor went bad or something. I have to send it in to get it replaced, but I need the darn thing to photograph a wedding this Sat. GAH! I'm...

It's almost like if I jiggle the camera, it takes a picture, not just black. there is also sometihng loose inside it seems....don't know what it would be though.

I just got my 350D yesterday, and my first lens tonight. I put the lens on and it was taking pictures just fine and now, after I get it home from going somwehere, I cantry to take a picture but all...

HA Ha, those are cute pictures :D

I agree, and thanks for pointing out it is the 17-35, not the 19-35. I'm trying to always get lenses with aperatures of f/2.8 or faster, since I use f/2.8 on my P & S a lot

Hi! I just bought the canon Rebel XT w/ a 28-70mm Sigma f/2.8 ($75) and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 ($70+s/h)
I'm trynig to decide what I should save up for next...should I replace my 28-70mm with...

Manfrotto or Bogen (sp?) are rather expensive, from what I've seen, but they are the best of the bunch. However, on eBay there is one made by DynaTran that seems pretty good...although heavy. I...

I was ALMOST scammed by these people. I ordered the 350D from them, only to find out over the phone it doesn't come with the battery and whatnot. So, I cancelled my order instantly, and order from...
