I will buy the 700 but not just now. I will wait until the price drops, as it did for the a100. I'm very happy with the alpha and it does everything I want in a camera.

I was in the same boat and went with the Sony Alpha as I also have a range of Minolta lenses from my film days. Have yet to regret it. Great camera :)

Have you looked at the Sony Alpha 100. It's an excellent camera for wildlife photography as it's got an anti-vibration feature built into the camera, so every lens you fit uses the feature....
