You didn't specify what battery type you prefer, or in other words, if AA batteries are important to you.
If NOT, than I would go for two models: the Fuji F10 that looks like a real quality camera,...
-
It would be a great idea to have printer reviews on your site. I was looking for a printer lately and could not find decent reviews anywhere. Every once in a while you can find a serious review but...

I don't know about the H1, but my (much inferior) S90 records videos with a SanDisk card just fine.
-
If video is not playing a big part in your decision, i would take the A510 over the Ixus for two main reasons:
- It uses AA batteries.
- It has 4X zoom.
It's true that people say that cycle times...

According to the review here, the fuji has a superior image quality.
I don't care much about optical viewfinder and manual controls.
I really like how the Nikon is built and their cameras are easy...
-
Well, I did some shooting with the S90 and it looks very nice. The photos come out very nice, except maybe for the portrait mode that is called here 'soft snap' and produces images that look a...

They are completely different cameras.
The A95 has manual controls, is not super compact and it uses 4 AA batteries and the CP5900 is very compact, has no manual controls and uses a 'special'...
-
I believe the W5 is more or less the same as the P200 except that physically it's a lot bigger and it uses AA batteries instead of a special battery. I think using AA batteries are a big advantage...

I went for the Sony S90. I only have it for one day but I intend to do a lot of picture taking during the weekend and I will share my thoughts and impressions with you guys next week.
Thanks for all...

A lot of countries have tax refund even if they are not members of the EU. I have no idea how to find out which countries though...
The refund is sometimes done at the airport at some custom office...

Thanks for your quick reply, Jeff.

Thanks. This information is very useful.

Can't argure with that.
I had the P73 for some time and I was very happy happy with it. At that time I owned a Nikon Coolpix and the P73 was borrowed from a friend. I have to say that I felt really...

Of course it helps.
I used to have (well, actually I still have it somewhere...) a Canon EOS something that I bought more than 10 years ago. It's an SLR for beginners and for a while I thought I...

As far as I know Media Direkt does not have any online presence... But believe me, it's there and it's much bigger than the Fnac store that is about 2 blocks from there.
-
There is a store called "Media Direkt" (that's right, with a 'k') and it's located in the top floor of the 'INNO' department store in the main shopping street of the old city. It's called 'New...

I am not a big expert, but with digital cameras, the lens is just the beginning. It's true that with a bad lens you are starting 'behind' already, but if the lens is good, you still have to have a...

Hi,
I really like the buyers guide and I think it is very helpful. I've been reading the reviews in this site for a long time now and I feel that if a camera gets your recommendation, it's worth a...

Thanks!
The Canon is certainly a good camera. X4 zoom and AA batteries are a very big plus. Manual controls are nice but I know me and I know I won't be using them.
The video really bothers me,...
-
You made me very curious! Why was the Sony that bad for you?
-
After reading the review in this site I think that the only reason to consider NOT buying the F10 is the fact that it does not use AA batteries. If this is not a problem for you, than I would...

Hi All,
The 3 cameras I mentioned are my final candidates. I am buying this camera in Israel and here the price for the 3 is more or less the same.
It's important to mention that I already have...
