Anyone with...

I have a question on burst shooting with the XTi. After taking around 5 or so consecutive shots in JPG mode (with flash) the camera says "BUSY", and I have to wait from 20 to 45 seconds before able...

I would like to add if you are looking for a CF card, be careful as there are many fake cards selling online for cheap, especially on ebay. They will not work well with your dslr - trust me I've...

does this mean I will just need to keep several images on a memory card, and simply reapply the one I need for each room???

by the way, in regards to some previous comments, I appreciate all the great help from people here..I'm impressed how people in forum are quick to help each other, and how kind they are about doing...

exif data on individual images = ISO 200, aperture 3.5, shutter 1/8

Actually I do see a problem with having to manually adjust every shot. If you have a decent camera why should that be necessary?
What do you mean that's no reason to dislike a dSLR?? I suppose...
-
ok, so take a photo with the poster board lit with tungsten? got it!
but the 2nd part, "set the WB manually from that image"? how is that done?
-
yes I "attempted" a manual setting. It was done by first taking a photo of a white poster board (taken with flash on), then going to the menu, custom WB, and selecting that image. Then changing the...

I went on a test shoot with my XTi the other day and took a number of photos of a lighthouse. Using 17-55 stock lens, I experimented with different options such as:
lens hood - on vs. off

I am just curious if anyone has used both the XT and XTi and happens to prefer the older XT for any reason?
Often camera manufactures cut corner in new models, and though some feature may be...

Hi, no problem with the posting, thanks for your contribution to my "charity". :-)
The one part is a tad confusing, you said "then you set that in camera when shooting the room"? does that mean...

Hi I got an XTi not long ago and have a question on something that seems odd.
In AUTO mode on the LCD screen I can see the shutter speed changing when I point the camera in different directions....
-
thanks, yes it was stitched with the included Canon software. It was pretty simple to use.
-
No post editing at all. Just resized and some were rotated.
Most were shot in program mode which is manual in the sense you can set ISO and turn off flash - most were ISO 800, no flash.
thanks...
