i had them both on 40d, and the canon left almost immediately i received the sigma, yes you may have problem with the focus, i did, but a quick trip to sigma service and you will love that lens!

i borrowed a spyder2pro from a colleague and after about 1 1/2hrs of trying i gave up and still using the manual calibration profile provided by apple (macbook)
the spyder2 made the contrast waaay...

by 12 feet you mean 4 meters? no problem i will do so, the only time i saw i have to take care it is properly focused is under 1m (3feet)

ahaa, yes, it is about 10 degrees bent over to the left to be able to get the water pouring out of the glacier lake into the picture. again you could look at the exif, the only pp was resize.

what do you mean by crocked? streched or post processed? no it is not, i can put the original online and you can see the exif, that pic is straight from the camera made with 40d and 10-22

this is how the water from the glacier looks like, i do not how or why but later on when it reaches the lakes of Brienzsee and Thurnsee it gets an amazing turcouse color.
