If you have a laptop with you you can use image capture software to get any series of shots you choose.
Looks like it had trouble picking up the red in the jerseys. My friend's f30 has the same issues... red flowers come out looking really wierd.
the Canon S2is has this feature, but the A-series only takes pics at 1 second intervals (up to 10).
I think a lot of olympus cams have this feature.

I, too, would like an infrared remote controlled camera. I would stick with AA batteries as I have a lot of them. Not an easy feature to search for.
