    I've had both my XT and 300D freeze up on me before. It rarely happens, I think it might be just a occasional electronic bug. I don't know if Canon would be able to cure the problem.

    A dealer showed me the Canon way. On the setting for 3:2 ratio, crop lines were introduce onto the LCD. :) So you had to compose between the lines to get a 3:2. :D
