Most of them have a little PP done to them (levels, some of them sharpened, etc), the ones with horizons are probably straightened because I'm terrible at keeping things even...

Not in automatic mode, unless you get an external flash and just leave it powered off. In the manual modes, you have to activate the flash manually (go figure :))
