Phill, lovely colors yeah? pity we here have worst fall in 3 years i think. the last year was incredible but then i was not interested. as always we miss many things later.
Thanks for the kind words guys I was a bit lucky really. I had put the camera on high saturation as it was a rather cloudy morning & just as I was passing that spot the sun came out. I forgot to change the settings so that's why the colours are rather vivid, although it seems to have been quite a good year for leaf colour here.
Gintares I love the sharpness in your shots.
Geoff don't wait too long for that day off the leaves are falling pretty quickly here.
Phill, you meant sharpness? are you kidding? this is Canon cheapo kit lens (no IS) !!! :p
Seriously speaking i love kit cheapo more and more. My 28-105 II, which is fairly good lens, stays mostly at home now (too narrow for landscape) and probably I will sell it soon. I am still in the process of experimenting and thinking about lenses to add to my wish list which then i will mail to a dealer in HK who promised me a good price if i take 3 higher grade Canon lenses. My 1st list is 10-22, 17-55 IS, 70-200/2.8 IS... alternative 10-22, 17-40L, 70-200/4 IS or 70-300/IS DO plus may be couple of primes.
I think I'm going to chime in on this thread.

Visited RHS Wisley on my birthday - was a very grey day! (no blue skies!!)
However - I still soldiered on and took some photos 27 of which I kept!!!
Here's just one...
Never let a dull day stop you. Be God and make the sun shine. Sorta. Happy Birthday.
