by the way...does anyone like the borders?
The sunset looks great ;) . The border looks cool, I get the idea behind it :) , but the same as in real life, a photo looks beter when it fits inside the frame, doesn't it ;) (but it sure looks real  )
Hi, I only just discovered the Photo Gallery forum the other day. Before then I'd only looked at the CAMERA forums since I've been looking for a new one. Admittedly, someone told me to start posting pictures - I was just confused and wondered how...hahaha :D
Anyway, I just wanted to say I am really amazed at all your photos here. Really shows the world is a beautiful place. You've all got such good photographic eyes too. I wonder how many are professional photographers? :) Almost ashamed to look at my photos after looking at all yours here! I just point and shoot - no eye for a good shot at all :o Oh well, may still post something eventually for the fun of it.
PH81, don't be embarrassed ... I'm sure you have some really great pictures. Sometimes it seems like a big part of a good picture is just luck ... if you take lots of pictures, there are bound to be some good ones! (Like me, 2500 pics in 6 weeks ...) Looking at the pictures here definitely helped my eye, and learning about the controls of the camera helped, too.
Post some of your good ones!
I agree PH81 just go & post. There have been some wonderful pictures of New Zealand posted here by others it looks like a beautiful place. Welcome to the gallery.
