The most recent of the pier is OK, but I prefer the blue harbor and Bryce Canyon which are both great. Maybe the pier could have been better with a normal or normal-ish lens...? The pier doesn't draw me in as much though.

Lukas,
I wish that bush was not in the lower left. Cropping it out would lead to too much sky. I am going to miss trying to play detective figuring out where you took a few of your shots from.
Haha, I won't give the location next time. Yeah I don't like that bush either, though I thought it was going to be worse when I set up there. I didn't have too much choice. I liked this angle on the curve, but the hillside was soft and pretty much a straight drop just a few feet to the left so I didn't feel safe trying to get the same angle w/o the bush.
I must admit I've a soft spot for night shots and that's a pretty good one Lukas. You did well mixing the two subjects together and not making it look confusing. I see what Kg means about the bush and sympathise with your shooting predicament, life's often like that. Hope we can continue with threads like this on DPR. Have a great Christmas guys.
Lukas,
I know the feeling as you start slowly sliding down the slope with tripod and camera in hand. Did it once into a rushing stream when one patch was a bit slimier than the rest. Just remember try for feet first camera up high:)
How convenient. :)
Cool location Lukas. I had to look it up.
