I found what appeared to be a plastic heal from a pair of shoes and took this photo without moving it. This is a crop of the original.

A friend asked me to take a picture of fire. Some experimentation resulted in this. I was pleased.
I love the shoe/grass shot. I think it's so cool to stumble across something that seams so uninteresting, and then making it into something so much more.
The tree was a total accident but it ended up really cool, cropped from original.

I love this forum. I could look at it all day.

Water flowing down an incline.
Thanks cpat. My wife just could not understand why I wanted to take that pic and still thinks I'm a little crazy! Here is another that I took outside of the hospital she works at in New Orleans. I cloned most of the grass to cover the surrounding parking lot and buildings.Quote:

Abandoned in Paris, played around a bit with

I have some tree-abstracts. First a knobby tree part:

Some Birch bark:

And finally a tree against shimmering water:

The tree had fallen into the stream, the shimmering bit is the water flowing under it.
I just like this shot.
gstafleu, I really like the 2nd one. I think the composition is very striking. I can see it blown up and framed in minimalist room.
Nomad, what do you think of my shot? Kind of similar ... http://www.dcresource.com/forums/sho...ghlight=window
After looking at this shot again for the first time in 3 months, the out-of-focus curtain is bothering me ... but I don't think I could have had the other elements in the pic if the curtain had been in focus. Your thoughts?
Fun with sprinklers
