Thanks Prospero I wish I'd done something to deserve your praise, I'm afraid they were all straight out of the camera and taken on sunrise/sunset mode. In fact I took a few shots to start with & must have been having a senior moment or something & just couldn't get anything sensible, they were all far too blue. I tried changing iso, exposure comp, metering etc but just couldn't get anything with less blue so I resorted to the Olympus sunrise mode before the moment passed completely.

It wasn't until I looked at the exif on the PC that I spotted I'd left it on Tunsgten WB :o
Maybe this is a case when shooting raw would have saved the earlier shots. There was originally a blackbird sitting in the tree that I wanted to include with the sunset background but he got fed up & flew off before I got my act together.
Your shot on the other hand shows off your skills - very nicely done.
