That second photo with the bench is amazing! Great shot!

Ahh damn it does look like you just missed it. That's what I love about outdoor/nature photography. There's that little window of about 5 minutes where the light is great and less than 60 seconds where it's perfect and if you miss it, you're S.o.o.L.
thats a damn shame. looks like it woulda been a cracker of a shot. beautiful oranges and blue sky. gotta say, very well exposed aswell. good job. could use a more aggresive crop to get rid of some of the black in the foreground which would also move the horizon out of the centre. i generally find a centred horizon splits the photo too much and loses a bit of impact.
I have cropped the above image using Nikon, Picture project. And I have to admit I used colour booster and adjusted the brightness to bring out that orange glow ;) is this allowed or is it cheating?
Tell me if this works better.
Cheers
Dom
...last night, from my balcony, with Fuji s5700!!
Dom, thats not cheating at all. looks great. good job. :)
here's one of our aussie sunsets. :)
Rooz, amazing sunset shot.
When seeing your sunset shots (and Kev's) I always wonder if the sunsets Down Under are really much more beautiful than those here or if it's just a right place right time thing.
Here's a picture of the sunset in Scotland:
