This flower was a bit off the elevated trail thing you had to walk on so I couldn't do macro. I zoomed in as far as I could. Don't like this one as much as the others.

A grasshopper on a nice yellow flower. Saturation increased a little bit on this one.

wouldn't mind some feedback on this one if anyone is willing to oblige ( and don't worry I'm happy for you to roll on the floor laughing! ) been playing with this in photoshop for ages ( the original wasnt very good ) and quite like the effect but the ruddy snail looks stuck on... he isn't! but he looks like it! does it work or not...?

Cat the snail looks fine to me it's certainly stuck on your finger alright.
Found this dragonfly in the garden yesterday typically resting in the shade trying to avoid being photographed- didn't know insects were shy:D .I tried using high saturation in the camera to boost the colours & also used auto contrast in PS which helped a bit as well. I used f2.8 to blur the background as much as I could since it was pretty close and also to get a reasonable shutter speed to hand hold as I was balanced on the edge of our lawn. Overall I was pleased with the sharpness the FZ20 managed to capture.
Here's a second shot at f4
"Alien" indeed who needs sci-fi, great picture, never viewed anything like it any relation to a scorpian?Quote:
