Perpetual flower photo thread

I wonder why the photo has such a narrow depth of field when you shot it with f/5.6?

Anyway its a cool picture.

Thanks. The reason for the narrow DOF is that I used my macro lens -- Tamron 90mm f/2.8, and the gear was literally on top of that flower.

Oh ok, if you have time in the near future would you take another photo of the same flower a little farther away?
