Thanks Prospero yes I was suprised that the grey patio background seemed to work as well. It just goes to show that it's worth taking several angles.
Tim nice title, the pollen has been high the last few days. That last bit of rain didn't damp it down much. Thanks for the comments it is suprising how even the slightest breeze makes these shots difficult to get. I had a lot of fuzzy out of focus ones too.
Some more reverse macro shots. I have an old Olympus 50mm lens. I think I can get a little closer if I mount it backwards on the front of my Pentax 50mm. I'll try that out soon.
Lukas, the last two are really nice. How do you attach the reversed lens? And how does focussing work?
Nice photos. I really like the detail in those Phill D. Here are a few I took today. I know I already posted some similar to the first two but this time the flower actually fell off so I was able to position it where I wanted and get a little better angle, lol.
Lukas those last 2 shots rock. they look like a landscape of some sort. mesmerising,.
here are the colours of our beautiful country, the setting sun was kissing the yellow giving it an amazing glow. 300mmf4 captured the colours and the green contrast just beautifully. who needs a macro lens ?
I like it, Rooz! Reminds me of Coldrain....
