Well Adam... so you had better luck than me with the cats. I also shot at 150 mm, F/2.8 and ISO1600 at that.
Now that you mentioned a snow leopard. I took a shot of one on the same visit to the zoo.
Ha! That looks familiar! Look at this pose, Tim:
Newborn kittens. This is the best shot I could get of them as of now. They're tucked away back underneath some bushes.
The second shot is the look you get from the mother cat after she realizes you're around here babies. :p
Here's another picture of my fur-kid. I tried to take an "artistic" shot focusing on only his paw.
Comments/critiques always welcome.
Chuck--I think the focus on the paw works pretty well. I like it.
Olivia and George.
George wants to be the baby.
Went to the Buffalo Zoo to see the new tiger cubs, heres mom and the cubs
great pics of the cubs pas! how do you like the K200D?
Thanks ghost..the K200 is a great upgrade from the K100, much quicker to focus and the pictures are better exposed (less PP) and have much greater dynamic range. I also like the step up to 10.2 MP, it allows greater cropping.
