Lighting Setup Questions
Sony A300
Sony 11-18
Tamron 17-50
What I want is 2 lights mounted on tripods that will fire wirelessly.
I have never used lights before or I do not have any idea what I need or whats decent. Doesn't need to be real powerful mainly used in smaller setting and something no to exspsnesive so I can learn on. Any help?

Light is light.......don't be fooled otherwise

If you use one of these be careful as when I was doing some painting I had the vacuum cleaner hose in front of the light and the hose melted !
We measured the temperature of one at work and the lamp was about 700C.
It has some benifits though as when I was working in the garage last winter I did not need a heater as I used the 500W light for illumination and heating.
I used to use these when on site but they need to see the flash from the camera or where ever but they are cheap:

Frank has mentioned Yongnuo and they do a lot of useful flash gagets at good prices but get mixed reviews. I am getting a YN-468 for christmas from the wife.

I used the Mini Slave Flash aimed at the background. Then I used my umbrella with my FLV42 on it with the remotes.
