try calling canon, say you own an EOS 1D (i think they have red neck straps?) and see if you can purchase a replacement -

As close as i could find, finishes in black as oposed to pure red, but im sure ebay will have one of those too, somewhere...
Personally, if im gonna be spending money, i'd rather have something Comfortable then something purdy. -
