Don,
Don't mess with Health and Safety and
don't take on the Bureaucrats cos you can't win
A pyhrric victory is no victory.
Good luck and keep it simple!
Hey, thanks guys.
My sense of decorum is a whole lot different than these "art" types. I knew it would be a struggle and practicality would suffer. Anyway ... the party continues. It's just MY party. :D
Man, Frank ... it had its issues, but the results were ... well, they will be posted.
Despite "the school's" best effort to spoil the effort :p , it happened and I think a number of people are impressed as all hell. I know I am very amazed at what we created.
I, of course, need to process the images. The fun part, right?
This is a lot more fun than I originally gave it credit for and as tired and beat as I feel, I am anxious to plow into the shots and turn out the goods.
Edit:
"Coming ...?"

EXIF: A850 w/ SIGMA AF 24-70 f/2.8 DG EX IF HSM
@ 45mm - f/7.1 - 1/200 sec. - ISO-200 - CWA - Manual - Single Studio Strobe w/ Beauty Dish
I think we all could use some ... shut-eye.
A question to ponder: What's reflecting your light?
Good night.
Well, get a move on then! I gotta get some shuteye.
Okay ... simple, elegant, ONE LIGHT! Yeah! (Arm-pump)
Flash photography ... get one. :D
I think you know where you need to be now!! Good shot.
Frank
I kind of switched gears, during the stages of the shoot, from elegant to just plain fun ... and introduced "Martini-Girl" to the bar scene.

@ 70mm - f/6.3 - 1/80 sec - ISO-800 - CWA - Hot Lights - Manual - WB=Tungsten
Now, Martini-Girl has unique skills ... because she can deliver a seriously dry martini in less time than you can drink it. As the coquette of the bar walk ... you are really missing out if you do not try this lunchtime delight.

The first shot I likie!
Pretty girl mounting the stairs to a darkened first floor, looks back invitingly, atmospheric lighting ...
All the right ingredients.
Second, somewhat unflattering pose, dark and whats with the white arms?
Third, nice pose, quirky, sophisticated but sexy
lighting possibly a bit harsh (eye socket) and would benefit from a square crop (JMHO) and cloning top right ...

I could be hyperctitical and say that the image could do without the bottles and glass in the right hand corner and benefit from less light on the background to emphasize the model, but that would be churlish.
It's so easy to sit back and see stuff that's not obvious when you're in the hot seat (??) with all the pressures of directing and time constraints looming large.
Overall I'd say, damn good job.
Peek and Don,
I also noticed the arms, but then looking closer at both shots of Martini model, I realized it's all body paint.
Don, on your first one with the stairs, about the only thing I would modify is a reduction in the brightness of the flash reflection in the dress around her rear end. It's a bit hot and draws my eye there rather than to her alluring look which is very well lit.
