Focus on a water drop

i was obsessed with water drops a few years back. not so much the splash but the capture of the drop itself.

here's one i took with my old FZ7:

and i believe i added the lens flare effect in CS2.

For very consistant drops......

That is a good idea with the bottle. I can put coloring into the bottle and let it drop into water or milk or something else. Now that I got the focus right I can start being creatiff.
The stainless zink is a bit dull so I will try something else in the summer in my back garden.

A glass plate, in the sunlight, might make for some cool light scatter effects.
