It looks like it's shag carpet itself. The old adage, "you are what you eat," must be coming true! ;)

This guy came zooming by with his dog wearing goggles..lol
All old people are always the same. Big ugly glasses, flannel shirt, high waters, knee high socks, and loafers! lol
Hey, that's not fair. I don't always wear big ugly glasses. Only when I want to see things that are closer than my arms can reach. :)

An abandoned truck I came across in my travels.
Retro!
Darin, I used to have a Black and White camera like that.
Joe,
I thought you might have posted quite a few images of Italy.
I have many pictures on my hard drive. What I don't have is the time and knowledge on how to get them on here. Seems like every time I try, I fail. I have a flickr account, but still have trouble getting them to post on here properly. Might ask someone for help. :o
Wanna step up?
Sure thing, Joe.
First thing is to make sure you have a suitable image on your Hard Drive
JPEG
Not more than 1000pixels on the longest side
sRGB profile
Click on the "Post Reply" button (bottom left and you need to be logged in)
Scroll down a bit further to the "Additional Options"
and click on the "Manage Attachments" button.
In the pop-up window you can now "Choose" your image (navigate to the file on your hard drive)
Once chosen click on "Upload" and wait until done.
Close the pop-up window.
Now back up to the text entry box and select (click) whereabouts in your text the image is to be placed and
at the top of the text box there is a "paper clip" icon which contains your image.
You can choose to "Preview Post" to make sure everything's hunky-dory before you choose to submit the post.
While you are in the "Manage Attachments" pop-up you can choose to "Upload a file from a URL" if you'd rather use your Flikr account.
Before having to work all day this past Sunday, I decided to stop by one of my favorite places to shoot.

At least it decided to stop raining as I got out of the car to start shooting. ;)
The train yard here is under lots of water right now...probably shouldn't have built it right next to the mississippi
This was seen driving through the (very narrow) cobblestone streets of Naples Italy. Had to stop and take this for my own pleasure.
This is one of the reasons that I "LOVE" to travel :)
Food...
I thought you were in New Hampshire; and I remember enough from high school geography to know that the Mississippi does not go through there!!!
These tracks are right next to the LA River, but it would probably take a 500 or 1000 year flood before it over flowed the concrete channel.
Uploading works at last..but for how long?

Great shot Pete. How do you like the Tamron 90 macro?? I was looking at the 60 macro.
Frank
After coming across a couple of abandoned trucks in my recent travels, I decided to start collecting photos for a new series "Abandoned." Here's an old service station I shot yesterday.

that fallout from Japan is starting to take effect.......
Not that much but I didn't have that long to mess with it plus I didn't have my monopod with me which would have helped.
It felt cheap, but then, it really is cheap for a macro and it's pretty sharp stopped down a bit.
AF was slow and noisy but there again, it's a macro and maybe that's what you have to expect.
I was out with a Mate and he now has the Sony 100mm macro (never asked why) and I think he was rather hoping I'd buy it but it didn't really impress me enough to part with any cash. I'll stick with my two MF lenses for now.
