Night shots
Okay ... the "lighting season" at the high schools is pretty much over. Overall, I was curious as to what any of the SONY DSLR bunch felt did the best job in getting minimal noise shots.
Attachment 41516
I realize there are several different cameras participating, but say the higher ISOs were in contention ... 1600, 3200, 6400(!)
What lens did the "best job" for you?
Thanks?

Tamron 17-50/2.8 and the 70-200/2.8 :D
2.8 is the way to go :)

the 70-200 2.8 did fine for me! add the V4 update, play with the custom high iso settings we talked about andit rocked. nest would be the Tamron 17-50, used it inside this week at sports awards night, with and with out flash, will be posting soon, and tonight I used it for trick or treaters, halloween parade, and some jack o' lanterns by candle light and ISO of 6400. No my challenge is going to be basketball whole different set of crappy lighting to compensate for, will be the 70 - 200 for sure. Will have to play around with the settings I need another MR position! maybe start shooting in raw so I can batch process the 'weird' green lighting out of the shots.
