This was taken at Sunset Beach in Cape May New Jersey. It is the hull of a concrete ship that was there since 1917. It was not a good day for a sunset as you can see, so I tried to make the best of a not so good sunset. I will have to make a return trip an a clearer day.
My heart sinks a little, when I see this kind of devastation ...
Okay, enough of the puns. Looks like a solid capture, Frank. Exposure looks well-balanced ... there is definition in the sky highlights and no lost water surface, either. I suppose you could add a "sunset filter" to offer a bit more color, but it also has a strange moodiness to it.
I threw a Photoshop Photo Filter (85) at it ... what do you think?
Looks great I will try it. Here is another sunset. This is one of the on;y places to watch the sunset over the water on the east coast.
Don I don't have those filters. I used Intellihance pro Sunset Saver on the second sunset above.
Yeah, and someone leaves an old rusty shipwreck in the way. You think someone would mulch it or something.
The ship was made of concrete. I don't know how they sailed it.
Well ... if you spread a thing wide enough ... it'll float. Now, there's a scary thought, eh?
Here is the site on the concrete ship.
That second one you posted is my favorite :).
