I don't trust those images for making any assumptions regarding anything as they appear to have been heavily post-processed (just look at the severe over-sharpening on the ISO 1600 shots).

But, regardless, in-spite of the over-sharpening, they do look good in general and appear comparative and competetive with any other camera available on the market at that price point.

Sony appears to be very serious about the DSLR market and have stepped-up big time.

is the LV the reason that the VF in both the a300/ a350 is so crappy ? 0.74 mag for both ? pretty awful and not as bright as the a200.

the a350 only shoots at 2fps according to their specs aswell...this cant be right surely, is it a typo ?? :confused:

Nope ... the α300 is the faster FPS of the two ... using a 10.2MP sensor ... but basically the same camera.

"Live View" apparently has a cost in resolution. The choice is reduced noise ... or flap speed, you're not getting BOTH this time out.

But, hey .. at least you have the choice. :cool:
