ObiJuan....nice bokeh though the guy looks underexposed on my screen....
Some more cat shots from the 70-200mm

I shot my wife's cousin's wedding in Iowa this past weekend. I was solo at the rehearsal dinner and kinda second shooter at the wedding and reception. I learned a lot. I may do a thread on it to ask some questions. At any rate, here are a couple of my favorites.
This one had some weird chevron shapes in the highlights. I mostly cloned them out, but you can still see some. Any ideas what those are? Maybe the tips of the bulbs?
Hamilton....those shots look great...you should indeed start a new thread and post more shots...
in #1....it does indeed look like the tips of the bulbs...
Faisal, give it a shot to fix it. I get mixed results when editing on my laptop.
There was a spotlight facing the runway that had a cutoff--stupidly-- at around the chest.
It was great for children and smaller females, but sucks for the tall male/female models.
I was shooting at -2/3EV to hold the highlights and keep the background from blowing out knowing full well I could rescue the shadows in post.
Too bad I couldn't have control of the lighting at the event. All they had to do was widen the beam and raise it to cover all of the models entirely!
hey, brilliant flowers' images, loved kitty images and that lonely dog image, laydros, great series of yours.
michael, i concur your flower images make me want that Sigma lens :~)
