Adobe lightroom update available

Lightoom 1.1 is now avail. it adds 14 new raw supported cameras,
noise reduction and sharpening upgrades as well as some other things too.

i just downloaded the upgrade, everything works well except the sharpening which really sucks.

i only use sharpening on moon photos actually. after i downloaded 1.1 i thought i'd give it a crack and see what it was like cos there was alot of talk about its sharpening tool being enhanced and perfroming much better. it's still bloody awful imo. NX is MUCH better and so is bibble. the more i use NX the more i realise its the bargain software of the century.

I sharpen all my photos prior to printing. It's pretty much a requirement for producing nice digital prints. Thanks or letting us know about the update.

I downloaded this the other day:

1. The new sharpening tools are bad ass! Sorry Roozalbee, they rock.
2. Love the new clarity slider - bitchin!
3. I lost all my libraries. . . :mad:

I had a library for my XT photos, one for my 30D photos, and one for my D80 photos - All of these library files were erased! I had to start from scratch. Boooo! Thats the only thing that sucked about this upgrade. I hope adobe addresses this problem with future upgrades.

Man has anyone else had this prob? Sorry Andy, That rots.

I just downloaded the update and there is an option while installing to backup your files so it can all be saved. I didn't lose any of my libraries. They're still intact in 1.1

Sweet, I was really nervous about the download.
