Last but not least, moonrise over Prescott WS. The town turned out pretty good in this shot, as did the water but the moon is a bit blown. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will yield better results.

The first and the third are amazing, very eye-pleasing shots! But I must admit that JPG compression took it's toll on the first one :( ...
a very serious chart, seriously :p
High Tatras view from my city.
Nice, but why this frame? The picture looks like a movie screenshot :) ...
I agree, the shot would have been much better if the frame wasn't there. It cuts off too much of your foreground. Remember your rule of thirds and if you don't know what that is then google, it will help you with composition. Beautiful mountains though, I bet it was breathtaking standing there taking the shot.
hi all, my first post and first pic! recently purchased a s6500fd. im a utter utter photo noob, still trying to get my head round the manual for the camera and im keeping it set in either landscape, portrait or the sp modes for the time being as the manual modes confuse me far too much. anyway back to the subject, heres my first pic

used the auto contrast and auto colour tools in ps and then added a frame (i know its not great, but its my first real attempt). comments and criticsms are most welcome!
Welcome to the boards! Nice first pic too. Catching a rainbow like that is definitely good karma to start off your new obsession. ;)
I look forward to seeing more.
